Antique Bathtub
|
My boss has an antique bathtub said to be from around 1860. It looks like a wooden box with a copper liner in it. The copper liner goes straight down on one end (where the drain is)and is graduated from top to bottom on the other end so the bather can lean back on the curve. It is small (maybe 4') and all original. Someone told my boss that considering its portable nature, it was probably used as a bathtub on covered wagon trains. Can that be, and would you know the value of such an item?
