Porceline Pitcher and Basin
|
My dad and I are wondering if there is anything interesting about the maker, orgin or age of a set (pitcher & basin) left by his mother. Both items are white with a blue oriental design of pagodas and gardens. They are stamped as being made in England with the name "Bisto", a blue star and the intertwined serpent symbol of the medical profession. We really aren't sure how old they are, but we know they were brought back from England as a gift aboout 25 years ago. Any info or further direction are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
