The purpose of these trader boards is to allow collectors to post wanted to buy ads alerting dealers who are members of the ICB Dealer's Network to their "wish list" items. The following are appropriate posts:

• Posts that advertise an antique or collectible item or items that the poster is searching for (i.e. a Wanted to Buy ad), for which there is an appropriate category for the post.
• Posts that advertise an antique or collectible item or items that the poster is wishing to sell (i.e. a For Sale ad), for which there is an appropriate category for the post.
• Requests for information concerning the identification and pricing of a particular item. These posts should be restricted to the Q&A board.

Any person searching for an antique or collectible for purchase can post a Wanted to Buy ad. Posting Wanted to Buy ads is free, as well as contacting those who place For Sale messages. Sellers must register before they can post ads for a small fee. These posts should be placed in the most appropriate collectibles category. Sellers can also contact those who place Wanted to buy ads.

Only members who are ICB Sellers can respond to Wanted to Buy ads.

Yes, there are a number of restrictions, mainly intended to keep the message boards from becoming too unruly and unusable. They include, but are not necessarily limited to:

• Posting information that in no way relates to the topic of the message board.
• Posting spam, or repeatedly posting duplicate advertisements on the board. Your ad will remain on the board indefinately as well as be placed in our search engine.
• Posting fraudulent or misleading claims. People who purposefully misrepresent items for sale will be barred from using these message boards.
• Posting in ALL CAPS. I reserve the right to change these posts to lower case.
• The use of profanity or insulting language

Posts that violate these rules may be deleted from the boards.

To change an ad, you can use you password to log in at the bottom of your posts and make changes. For some older ads you can fill out our form and the change will be made in a timely manner.
